One parent must complete the Respect in Sport – Parent online course. Please send the completed Hockey Calgary Parent Declaration Form, along with the player’s birth certificate or passport along and four current proofs of residency, to TWHA Administrator .

There are various financial assistance programs available for TWHA players whose families face financial barriers to participating in hockey.
Evaluations help place players on teams suited to their skill level for a fun and safe experience.
That's totally normal! Younger age group evaluations are designed to be fun and low-pressure.
Please contact Trails West as soon as possible. Missing evaluations may affect team placement.
Goalies attend specialized sessions focusing on positioning, movement, and saves.
The season typically starts with pre-season camps in late summer, followed by evaluations and games in the fall.

The volunteer bond requirement will be for all members to contribute a minimum amount of volunteer time throughout the hockey season. The purpose is to ensure a more equitable distribution of volunteering across the association in an effort to provide a higher and more consistent level of programming

Volunteer roles exist at both the team and association levels, with a variety of ways to get involved and make a difference.
Coaches are the backbone of our association—our teams simply wouldn’t thrive without their leadership and commitment. We are always looking for new coaches and are happy to support you on your coaching journey. TWHA offers reimbursement for coaching courses and provides ongoing coach development opportunities to help you succeed.
