Approximately 20 members of TWHA plus all 13 Board Members participated in a discussion on Body Checking on Thursday May 10. All those attending were invited to complete an exit poll.

The TWHA Board is setting time aside from 7:30pm in the May 10 meeting to hold a forum on this very important topic. Representatives from Hockey Calgary's Body Checking Committee and the Hockey Calgary Board will be there to answer your questions.

The Hockey Canada Skills Combine program is a new initiative by Hockey Canada that will allow young players to gauge their skills in a fun and challenging environment.

This year year was the third Skate-a-thon for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation organized by Riley Beatty and his family. This year saw the highest turnout of skaters and the highest amount donated to date!
